Robert A. Stokes is President and Chief Executive Officer of Versa Power Systems, Inc., a leading designer and developer of planar solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power systems. He leads the company in its mission to commercialize cost-effective, environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient SOFC power generation solutions.

Stokes has previously held positions as Senior Vice-President of the Gas Technology Institute, Deputy Director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Manager of the Engineering Physics Division at Battelle, Pacific Northwest Laboratories. He has served on the Boards of several high-tech startup companies.

Stokes received Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in physics from Princeton University and completed the executive management program at the University of Michigan Business School.
